It is very difficult for many people to believe in something that they can not see, feel or taste, so they close their mind to the idea of a loving being who is with them always not realizing the little things that happen every day that can be attributed to Angels.
Many of us have images of Angels flying above the clouds and playing harps, but in fact they have jobs and are working hard on their mission which is to guide us toward the “Light” of which we are all a part of. The energies of Angels are all around us, everyday, at all times. They never desert us, in good or bad. They are there for us always. Whether it be in the form of Archangels, Angels, Guardian Angels, Elementals or Spirit Guides. They desire nothing more than to guide us toward what is good and protect us from that which will cause us harm. But because of our right of free will, they are restricted by what they can do, which is nothing if we do not ask them. The only time an Angel may help without being specifically asked is if we’re in danger and it’s not our time to go. It is not wrong or selfish to ask for your Angels help, as the Bible verse above state, “For he shall give his Angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all they ways…” We were given the gift of Angels, it is expected that they be called upon when needed.
What do Angels look like?
Angels are neither male nor female, but they are often referred to as he or she. They do not have a human form because they are made up of energy, love and light. But Angels will project themselves to us in a manner we are most comfortable with which means we often see them as human. If they have a message to give us, they may even come to us in the form of a departed loved one, so as not to scare us. Other ways Angels appear to us is through lights, colors, sounds, feelings, and scents.
Do we pray to Angels?
Angels do not want to be worshipped, they do not want us to pray to them as we pray to the God we worship, but we can’t expect guidance from them unless we ask for it. God has given all of us free will and Angels are not permitted to interfere with that unless specifically being asked (unless there is an emergency and a possibility of our dying before our time). To contact Angels, all you need to do is talk. It’s as simple as that, just as you would to a friend. There is nothing you can’t discuss with Angels. They see everything, so you’re able to discuss anything with them. Nothing is too small or trivial for Angels, they’re here to guide and help you and it makes them happy when you think of them.

Guardian Angels are like all other Angels, with one exception – they’ve been assigned to stand by us throughout our life, through good and bad. Everyone is given at least two Guardian Angels, some people, such as Lightworkers have more.
Your Guardian Angels know everything you’ve said, done or thought since the day you were born. They are non-judgmental and they look forward to helping you when requested.
Communicating with your Guardian Angel is not difficult. There’s no magic formula, it doesn’t matter if you’ve done “wrong” or you don’t go to church regularly – they just have to be asked. Angels are not allowed to interfere in our lives and will not offer help unless asked (except for danger of physical harm).
There are many ways to communicate with your Angels, no method is better than the other, it just depends on what you’re comfortable with. Contacting your guardian Angels is the same as contacting other Angels. All you need to do is call them.
Archangels
All Archangels end with the “el” suffix. “El” meaning “in God” and the first half of the name meaning what each individual Angel specializes in. Archangels are able to be in many places at one time. You never have to feel that your “problem” isn’t important enough to bother them with. That is what they’re there for, to help you grow (Remember: when you make your requests to an Archangel, they are not able to interfere with your karma). The most popular Archangels are Michael, Raphael, Gabriel and Uriel who are depicted in the Christian Bible. There is a debate as to the name of the other Archangels. In the eighth century, the Christian Church became alarmed at the rampant adoration of Angels by the Christian community. For some unknown reason, in 745 A.D. under Pope Zachary, a Roman council ordered seven Angels removed from the ranks of the Church’s recognized Angels, two of them being Archangels Uriel and Raguel.
This website recognizes there are many Archangels, and there’s much debate to who they are and how many there actually are, but we’ve listed the seven Judeo-Christian Archangels as (click on archangel’s name to read more):
Also known: Akrasiel, Raguil, Rasuil, Rufael, Suryan
Meaning – “Friend of God”, Referred to as the Archangel of Justice and Fairness, Raguel oversees all the other Archangels and Angels. He watches over them to make sure they’re working well together in a harmonious and orderly fashion according to Divine order and will.
Raguel is the Archangel for the underdog. Call on him for help when you need to be empowered and respected. He helps to resolve arguments, helps with cooperation and leads to harmony in groups and families. Raguel defends the unfairly treated, and provides support with mediation of disputes.
In the Revelation of John, Raguel is referred to as an assistant to God in the following account: “Then shall He send the Angel Raguel, saying: Go and sound the trumpet for the Angels of cold and snow and ice, and bring together every kind of wrath upon them that stand on the left.”
Despite his exalted position, for some unexplained reason Raguel was reprobated in 745 A.D. by the Roman church (along with some other high-level Angels, including Uriel). At this time Pope Zachary described Raguel as a demon who “passed himself off as a saint”.
Meaning – “Beauty of God”, Jophiel was the Angel present in the Garden of Eden and later watched over Noah’s sons. The Archangel of art and beauty, he is the patron of artists, helping with artistic projects, thinking beautiful thoughts, to see and appreciate beauty around us. Helping to create beauty at home and at work, Jophiel is the Archangel for interior decorators. He illuminates our creative spark by giving us ideas and energy to carry out artistic ventures. He also helps us to see the beauty in all things, including people.
As well as helping our creativity, Jophiel helps us to slow down and smell the roses. Call on him if you need joy and laughter in your life or if you feel you’ve lost the light in your life. He will also help if your soul is sleeping and needs awakening and if you wish to awaken a deeper understanding of who you are and seeking a connection with the higher self, so that you may take your first steps along your spiritual pathway.
